I was wondering, I have a 700 mile drive when I get my Jeep SRT. Is it bad to drive it that many miles immediately when new or should I get it shipped?

Just drive it. You'll be 100% ok. Give it a couple WOT runs while your on the highway, just try not to take it all the way to redline yet.

Keep it under 4,500 rpms and vary the engine speed by varying your mph and driving in different gears when possible, at least for the first couple of hundred miles. After that drive like you normally do.
