Sometimes living in another country with my jeep is a real PIA.
I went to a "reputable" shop here in Korea to have my Bwoody springs installed.
Upon completion, I notice that one side is like 2 inches higher than the other side in the rear. It looked like they gave me a lift instead of a drop. When I tell them, they look at me like I'm crazy and start pulling a ruler out to measure the difference. I couldn't believe they didn't see it.
Anyway, we get it on the lift and the dude comes back and tells my wife that he has to cut a bolt. I'm like "no way" and go with him to see this bolt. Sure enough, there is a bolt sandwiching the brake hose and part of a bracket. We then notice that the links are reverse from what they should be. Uh no kidding. So they put them back right and everything falls into place.
Well guess what, now I have a huge leak in my brake hose and they have to order a part that isn't even in this country.
I would try and order some SS lines but it can take anywhere from 1-8 weeks for me to get them here.
I may just do that anyway and install them at a later date.
My wife is Korean and she is constantly telling me to trust these places around here. LOL, she actually told me it was my fault because I didn't have to install new springs. I don't think I have ever had a single 100% satisfied experience in any audio/body/performance shop in Korea.
Maybe I should trade in my Jeep for a Hyundai...
