Just got the beast back from the dealer. Took in for 2nd oil change and Tranny TSB for the 1-2 shift hesitation and I have to say I am one HAPPY forum member! :D

Shifts perfectly now and the auto stick automatic shift at rev limiter was the best thing they could have done for this thing! NO MORE CRAPPIN OUT WHEN HITTING THE REV LIMITER!

Dealer is only a couple miles from my office, but hope to get a better feel tonight.

It's like a whole new vehicle!

Make it 2 Thumbs up.

Had mine flash done on Dec. 22 when I had to get an alignment from falling in a giant pothole (takes a large one to drop a 10" tire completely in).

I now love the auto-stick which I avoided like the plague before.

I cannot wait to try it out at the track...

I have had no problems with shift hesitation, but have hit the rev limiter in autostick. Would you recommend this TSB even though no problems?

WTF....I brought my GC SRT8 in this morning for my scheduled appointment to get the TCM reflashed. I got it back at lunch time. I didn't really test it out as I headed right back to work just a mile down the road (not enough time to warm up the engine). So tonight on the way home, as soon as the engine warmed up, I was blasting around in drive. The shifts seemed crisper. However.....and this is where the WTF comes in.... when I went into auto stick...it would just bang off the redline....no upshifts. I was actually looking forward to the auto upshift as I would think it would make a pretty bullet proof drag mode. They said they reflashed my TCM on the invoice....could they have screwed something up??? Anyone else have this result?

Tom - others have had the same problem. Your dealer may not have the updated software to perform the flash. Double check with them. The TSB states the version they need (StarSCAN 7.02 SP3 or higher). If they don't have this version, then the flash was not performed. It should shift automatically in auto stick if it was performed.

JeepSRT - I would say yes, cause as waydennis stated I avoided the autostick "like the plague" as well due to it bouncing off the rev limiter. Really didn't enjoy having to shift 500rpms before the rev limiter to make sure it shifted properly. Now....I just put it in first and floor it! Beautiful thing. One thing though, make sure if you do take it in you tell the dealer you have the 1-2 shift hesitation, or they will not perform the flash.

stsrt8 - go to the dealer with this printed out:

Its the actual TSB issued by DCX.

If they still can't help you, take it to another dealer.

If your sig is correct, then you have an 06' GCSRT8 and this TSB is for the 06'
