Solar Eclipse in Woodland Hills. They are located on Victory Blvd in between DeSoto and Canoga. I used them on my Envoy, Charger, and Grand Cherokee. They haven't done me wrong yet.

Often state law may prevent a perfect match. I live in FL which does not allow front windows to as dark as the factory tinting on the rears.

Any tint on the fronts is illegal in Cali. I'm sure he is quite aware of that, lol;)

non-metallic smoke 20% is a match (it's also an exact match to GM privacy glass). I think mine is Llumar. Now if you want to be legal in most states you could go with the same in 35% and it will match in color just not darkness. I've never seen a metallic or ceramic that matches in DCX or GM in color.

Solar Guard HP 18% is a perfect match to rear of JGCSRT8...I've done about 8 of them so far, I have a contract with 3 Jeep Dealerships and also multiple other dealerships...I'm how you say an expert on this!!! Also tell whoever installs it to microedge your fronts so that it looks factory...takes an additional 15 minutes but is well worth it when your passengers roll down his/her window and you get the man who tinted your car...is it factory...
Good Luck,

It's a process that tapers the film to the edge of the glass for a perfect edge on the window that is gapless and appears to be so perfect it is made that way...I have a ton of pics just have to find the folder they are in and upload them...

What are most doing? I have limo on my Cadillac now and its just too dark at night. I want to go a little lighter when I get the Jeep SRT8; what are most of you doing your tint at? 15 to 20% all around? Anyone have pics of the different shades (ON A JEEP SRT8)?

I did 15% all around, which basically made the rear windows next to impossible to see through (but not quite - you can still see through in bright sun) and darkened the front seats nicely. In PA, you can't tint front windows so it helps appease the LEOs if you don't black them out.

a lot of tint shops will not do a microedge unless you ask for it because it takes longer and after a while depending on the design of the window seal on the particular car you can see rub marks all along the edge where the tint meets the rubber. However on the Jeep it's not really a problem, my Jeep has been tinted over a year and no rub marks yet. Definitely ask for a microedge!
