Has anyone ran a stock one at a track... if so how much do they get a stock SRT by? I know it is really up to the driver of those... just interested i know a C5 is a good bit slower...

I havent seen any local C6's do better than a 12.9 or so. A lightly modded jeep would take it.

i figured CAI and tune would make it REALLY close... but once again all driver...

At Cordova C6s (LS2) routinely run mid 12s with 112+ traps... the LS3 is supposed to be a bit quicker (record for the LS2 is 12.2 I believe and the LS3 record is 11.9 or 11.8)... Should be a win for the vette with equal drivers...of course not many people here will see it that way.

LS3 is the Z06 not an LS7 (for the 7 liter?) thats the only vette i know of that runs 11's (other then the new blown 6.2)

Z06 has the LS7. The new C6's come with LS3s, the older C6's had LS2s. The new C6's have something like 430hp and i'm sure with a good driver and good tires they can be close to 11s.

My buddy has an 09 and we went to the track together he ran a best 12.84 .I ran a new 08 this spring with my nos we ran from a 60mph roll and I had him by 1 1/2 to about 130...I ran my buddys new 09 BUT he put custom wheels on it (after we went to the track) with a smaller tire in the rear than stock and from a 40 we were side by side till a hundred then he started to pull...I think the smaller tire really helped him

the new z51 are 12.4 stock and the c6 is 12.7 for motor trend

I think my C6 would take my Jeep but I'm not sure. The throttle response on the jeep is 100x's better. I prefer to drive the jeep over the C6.

no I have a 6 speed, vararam and a NPP exhaust. That's all. I really need a tune to get rid of that dead spot in the gas pedal.
