Manual shows a dipstick for the trans but in my engine compartment there is just a plug that says dealer service only. Anyone have a pn for one?

go to page 327 in your manual - fluid level checks are not needed, so it is omitted. Not sure why the diagram on 300 shows that it has the dipstick..

Well, when these transmissions leak (like both the Jeep and the 300C did), fluid level checks are needed. The factory just wants you to go to the dealer to mess with it.

I went to 300 and could not believe they want you to go to the dealer for check. It sometimes takes a week to get in line. I keep checks on all my cars, fluid color and smell tells alot. I am going to try and see if a reg GC dipstick works, even if to just hang on the wall and keep a record.
