(the jeep... a G35 and a bmw 6 series)

I have come to a conclusion

i suck at runs from a roll

why do i insist on using the autostick during this time?

why dont i let the jeep tell me what gear is best and just put the pedal to the floor?

OK... one excuse.. i was on the phone (bluetooth) with my girl and cant multi task for sht... plus i didnt want her knowing i was in a 3 car street race so while I am in and out of traffic like a freight train im trying to casually talk to her like im just cruising right along heading home...

well i finally get off the phone...

it really was bt the 2 of them but i was just following right along... than i got off the phone and joined in but i am not certain if they knew what was behind them

we all clear traffic..... the 2 of them line up at a roll around 60 and i am right behind them waiting for them to run....

Well they are rolling for awhile now than i realize im pretty sure the passenger in the G had a camera.... So heres my dumbout

i decide to autostick down to 3rd to keep the rpm's up so shes ready to go....

than they start slowing down even more... and more... next thing you know we are down to 40...!!

and what do i do...? keep her in 3rd b/c i just dumbed out...

than BOOM

they are off

i wot and......................... brutal....

her rpm's climb slowly as the 2 of them pull away ever so slightly... the rpm's climb and she starts pulling on the g35 but the bmw was long gone....

g flashes beamer and pulls off exit...

i pull up along side beamer and initiate....

he looks over and pulls off the other exit...

I got zero closure... i was pissed off... i let us down... and than i drove all over town sniffing out anything to boost my ego without success....... nothing but old ladies in toyota corollas...

so what I am saying is when i do this im more disappointed in the fact that I did not represent the jeep the way i should have so i let us all down...

next time i promise i will not disappoint... now they possibly may be saying on another forum..

i need to snap out of it and stop using autostick...!!

I use autostick for racing i star in 2nd gear from a roll. It happens when u lose in a race.

These trucks from a roll all depend on what speed you're running. I've found 20 for hitting first, 50 for hitting 2nd, and 80 for hitting 3rd. If you hit it at these speeds, the truck will launch and run like a raped ape. Hitting 3rd at 60mph in our trucks in a dead zone. Guarenteed loss.

Try to race from a roll at 50 or 70. At 50 it jumps to second high on the powerband and at 70 it jumps to third high on the powerband. From 60 it jumps to third and doesn't pull!!!

lol... thats great... so true... during the time when they were rolling for awhile we did come up to about 3 lights but they all stayed green.... i think they were trying to catch a red but didnt want to go to slow and hold up traffic... i was so hoping for a red... but i was behind them... i probably would have ran up the dudes trunk with the nose of the jeep...
