I have my black SRT/8 since April. Low mileage, garaged. I have been wrestling with the idea to have the Teflon Surface Protector applied by the dealer. I waited for the factory paint to completely settle in. I own the SRT/8 outright so I want to "protect my investment". Has anyone used this system? The brochure was given to me by the dealer. My hesitation is that once on, it can never be reversed properly. In the interim, I use the Mothers products (1, 2 & 3).

Hey MAF, if you are still thinking about this, do it yourself and don't waste money for the dealer to do it. I swear by Zaino myself, but took a quick look at it out of curiosity. It may be the next greatest product, but to me it looks like that Nuwax 2000 stuff that was marketed as lasting years. Check this out:

Here's an article that I thought was on the product, but only went into the profits it is bringing to dealerships, still "interesting" on their marketing attack:

Other than that, the only other things that came up on this product were "as seen on tv" online retailers. In other words, I don't see this as anything special. Stick to your more frequent application of Mothers product and enjoy the shine from your efforts!
