Hello SRT for me,

There is a lot of time and effort that goes into these engines and the price is an incentive to send back the stock engine. We paid for shipping and insurance and then there is labor to tear them down and rebuild them as 426's, so the price is what they are worth as cores, not necessarily what their street value may be.

The $5,995.00 price is for a very limited quantity. Once those are gone, they will be just as scarce as they were before this limited supply became available.

Hopefully that helps clearify the core charge amount somewhat.
