Im about to pull the trigger on a SRT8, love the truck, had a 98 5.9 and always wanted another super jeep. The jeep is at a range rover dealer from a trade and i can buy the car for 35k here are the details...please let me know if this is the right price.

maf1960 12-29-2006, 11:44 AM Brother, with the options (including rear DVD player) it sound like you have a Dealer Option II (??), if that exists. The 6300 mileage concerns me a bit. Could this be a lease "early return"?? You know that the dealer always wins, especially with a trade-in... Do a CARFAX for the heck of it. For a quick decision, take another $3k off in your favor, just for 2007's gas costs. It is end of year, see if the dealer bites by tomorrow. I bet he does!

The dealer is a family friend and the car checks out, im sure they are still making a few bucks on me but @ 35 im a happy camper. Im picking her up @ 230 today...pics to follow!

Congrats! This might be a little late since you bought but do you know if the original owner used the SRT Track Experience invitation that comes with this vehicle? It's a $500 value that folks purchasing used ones might not be thinking about. If the invite was used, gotta believe it can help you negotiate a lower price. Good luck.

Stock has a nice purr, at open throttle it will turn heads, but I would not call it loud. The prior owner may have installed the aftermarker Mopar/Corsa exhaust on your ride which is significantly louder (and better sounding) than stock.

Awesome, that's at least a $1,100 value that you probably didn't factor in at time of purchase. Do you know if the SRT Track Experience was used yet for your VIN? If not, that's another $500 value and one of the best times you will have.
