You guys don't realize these mods are pretty forgiving compared to other mods elsewhere...try the lx...forums.com or 300cforum...z.com....those places have some CRAZY MODS!

The Mods here are ridiclous. It seems to me that there is a huge inconsistency on warning and bans. When it rains it pours I guess. But IMO I think that any bans on this site will have much more affect than a forum with a broader subject. This is a Jeep SRT8 forums, so we are going to have a limited amount of people who will visit this site, and when we do get people who contribute and bring life to this forum, and boom they get banned and others are getting warning of ban's for sticking up for a fellow member.

Because a lot of these guys manage many forums they cannot search everything, so you have to report the post with the little [!] button on the top right side of that post, right by what number post it is.

Unless I happen upon it, yes. I dont just administrate this forum, I have 20some others that I also am responsible for. With several key people leaving the company recently (Ekool and El Calor are no longer with the company), Im pretty much it on most of the forums Ive been administrating for years. As such, I dont have time to sit here and read every thread on every forum Im responsible for. If it gets reported, I investigate it. You guys arent children, you know the rules, you know what's allowed.. for the most part you shouldnt need me looking over everything you post.

Im a firm believer in minimal moderation.. I have to work within the rules Autoforums has laid out for me to work in. On my own forums, which are not Autoforums owned, I rarely delete anything or ban anyone but I dont have to because people know the rules and stay within them.

I deal with about 100 reported posts a day and try to work my regular job, which is not these forums. I wish I had time to read more and interact with the community more but I dont. Im sure at some point Autoforums will send in someone else to oversee this forum. Id be careful what you guys wish for, you may not like it when you get it.

I agree and if it gets brought to my attention, Ill do that. Someone else is serving time now for posting a disgusting photo right alongside Ace. Just because it appears the rules arent being enforced doesnt mean you can disregard them.
