: 1st post here..
TRAINER 04-24-2006, 06:38 AM I have been lurking for a while and it's time to post. I just picked up my GC SRT8 last week.
I really need to post up some pics and info on what I've been doing to my GC SRT8. I've just been having so much fun driving that my internet time is limited, LOL. Details and info to follow once it stops raining here in NJ.
Here's a short list:
1. 8000K HID's in the lows
2. PIAA's in the highs
3. Clear bra (Invisashield/Stoneguard) professionally installed - nose, fenders, hood, mirrors, door handles, rear bumper
4. OEM remote start
Today I'm ordering led replacements for all the 3157 bulbs in our car (front blinker/running light, all 3 rear bulbs in the tail light assembly.
Sounds excellent! Very interest in seeing how the HID mod changes the sensitivity of the auto sensing headlamp function. Can't wait to see pics.

Hey Trainer, just a heads up in case. Got all my stuff from autolumination.com and he was very helpful. Only did the rear three, but on first install, found that turn signals would not work and dash indicator flashed rapidly. Had to get two 6 ohm equalizers, install one each side, to correct problem. Fixed problem, but cost me a little time. I think you might need one each side also for the front blinkers. Good solid product, like mine, and the backup lights are much better. Good luck
TRAINER 04-24-2006, 11:25 AM I ordered from that company as well. I was figuring I would need to do that and thanks for the confirmation. I went with the light tower II for the rear and switchback for the front, how about you?

Only did the backs, and went with the Light Tower II's also, but did the "Brakers" for the stop lights. Like the flashing aspect. The back up lights are much brighter now also.
TRAINER 04-24-2006, 07:15 PM In reference ot the equalizers, what type did you get, where from, and, the million dollar question, how do I install those? LOL
Thanks in advance.

autolumination.com, home page, 2nd box down, second box to right. You probably want 3 ohm if you are doing front and rear. Easy 10 minute install, good install diagram there too. Yeah, I see the trend. Where in Jersey you from? Grew up there and spent a great deal of my life returning and leaving. You and I think alike in other areas as well. Other rides are 05 M3, and 05 Dyna Wideglide, and my son rides a V-Rod, Ann., Silver....
TRAINER 04-25-2006, 03:29 AM That install diagram looks simple. I just ordered them, thanks again.
I live in Ridgefield, near Fort Lee in northern NJ. I grew up in N.Y. and lived in Miami for a while too.
I had a 98 m3 4 door that I loved. This Jeep will keep me and my dog happy for a while I'm sure!
