Well guys...I blew out a rear tire tonight on the highway going about 72-74 mph. I dont know if I hit something or what...but the runflat got me home...almost 25 miles. I didnt even feel the tire go....just started hearing a thumping noise and pulled over. The bad thing is........it was a rear tire I had repaired by a runflat dealer locally. I know the guy personally...so i just called him up and he's gonna come to my house in the early afternoon tomorrow....remove the wheel/tire and put a new one on it. He says a Goodyear store in Lex. KY has a set....so he's gonna drive and get it for me. How cool is that?

What would have happened if you didn't have run-flats?

He would have been up sh!t creak with no paddle and a messed up rim..

Say what you want about the ride quality of run-flats, they WILL get you home.

What are the part # of the runflats? Its hard to tell which are and aren't since the tire looks the same and has the same name as the non-runflat.

they say "EMT" right on the sidewall
