I just purchased a 2007 black srt8 with about 9K...I'm loving it so far...but i have a few questions for all you chicagoland owners out there...
I generally wash/detail all my vehicles myself, but since i live in an apt downtown, this is impossible....does anyone know of any good car wash/detail shops in the chicago area??
how about any shops/mechanics able to install aftermarket parts?
lastly, i'm looking for a body shop that has the ability to powdercoat my wheels and blackout some of the chrome...any ideas??

There are two pretty good places right near the corner of grand/halsted/milwaukee for hand car washes and details. I like the one on milwaukee the best. Both are south of grand....

I live on state and ontario...drove the rig all weekend...absolutely amazing...I am however already noticing the brake squeal... :(...apparently, that's the price we pay for high performance brakes!!
I will definitely look into the car washes...never owned a vehicle in IL (more so in the cold/wet weather...originally from AZ)...but i'm sure all the salt/junk on the streets is brutal on the paint/undercarriage!
