I was sitting the left turn lane at a stop light on Quentin and Long Grove Road. A 16 year old girl decided to make a 40 mile an hour right turn, and she stopped ...when she hit my driver side doors....both were pushed in a foot. I got a free ride to the Hospital in an ambulance....Spent all afternoon in the ER, CAT scan, all the good stuff. Sore, but alive. If it was me, I would total the car, but I am sure the Ins Company (the girl has Progressive), a lousy company to deal with. I am glad I was in a 5000 pound SUV as my Jeep was spun 45 degrees. Once the work is doen and it hits the reporting SYstem, the car will be worth about 50% less. The girl was ok, which was a blessing.

Happy Holidays

Sorry to hear about your dilema, glad that you are okay!

If you want to part out the SRT8, there would be a lot of interest; I'm sure.

Happy Holidays, Take care...

BTW: I use USAA (I'm retired military)

Shoda glad to hear you and the girl are okay. The beast can always be fixed or replaced. Drop me a line if you feel the need to drive the beast while yours is getting fixed. In the mean time, enjoy the bouncing below. Should cheer you up.

Godfather, you have any idea what thet bouncing did to my Sprained Spine? I guess I will have to pop another Vicodin

Appreciate the offer, and may have to take you up on it. You are right, the car can be replaced.

Glad you are okay. Definitely easy for us to say the GC can be fixed, but it is true. Definitely get something for the GC, the medical, and the other. I'm sure her parents are expecting to get hit with a nice lawsuit.

Glad things are for the most part okay. Too bad about the truck. Good luck getting things sorted out.

Sorry to hear about this. The most important thing is that you are OK (other than some pain and inconvience). I've learned, from an accident or two in the past, that a car is just metal and can be replaced. Things like this have a way of working out. Take care and happy holidays.
