GodfatherSRT8, looks great! Do you think you could post a pic of this thing at night from a bit of a distance? Which kit did you go with (for both)?

Went with the 8000k kit for both. Bought it from buyhidkit.com. I will take some pics later tonight.

lookin good godfather! just wondering how/where did you end up mounting the ballasts?

just yesterday I swapped out my D2R 4300k system for the new D4R bulbs and ballasts which are closer to 5000k. Normally the higher the kelvin the less light you get but with D4 you get the best of both worlds, these suckers are fu*$#&@ bright!

I know this question has been beat to death, but which bulbs go where?

9005's for highs and fog's?
9006's for lows?

I tried search to no avail, please help...

H10's are for the fogs, but I remember reading somewhere that 9005's are a perfect fit...

Godfather:

Does the buyhidkit supply everything needed for the install?

You will need to order a wire harness with the kit. They charged me an extra $40.00 for that. I plan on doing the same mod to my Armada only with the 6000k this time around.

So are these #'s correct? 9005's for highs and fog's? 9006's for lows?
