Hey guys!! Just got back from my buddy's and was looking into the noise in the rear. We decided to rebuild the rear with new ring,pinion and bearings in 2 weeks!! Not messing around!!!!

My question is... is there anyone that has a set of extra stock rims and tires i could borrow for a day?! I know its a very odd request, but with my 22" rims (and no stock rims and tires) trying to get the wheels aligned is a mess! Want to use stock to get all in as good of position as possible!! I will leave you with a check until i bring them back!!! I just can't get the front wheels like they shouldl!! if anyone could be so kind, that would be amazing!! I WILL BE AT THE GET TOGETHER AT HOOTERS NEXT SATURDAY if anyone going to be there has a set!!! Thanks so much!!! even if its just 2 for the front!!!! Thanks again!!!

Why do you need to align it? Did you lower it? If so, you could essentially align the truck by sight. There is only so much adjustment that you can get, a good alignment shop doesn't worry about the wheels. They just have to add camber to the front. As much as they possibly can to get within specs.

Too bad you're so far away.....I'd be more than happy to help out a fellow forum member....... It's just a wheel......not like it's a kidney. Since I got the GTI, my GC is parked a week at a time anyway......:eek:

Thanks for all the reply's guys. I am looking for wheels b/c my jeep was in an accident and the drivers front's camber is off. The jeep was aligned with the 22" inch wheels and my buddy who has his own shop is looking for stock wheels so we can check and get everything into (or atleast as close to) spec OEM with stock tires and rims. If i can't find a set its not the end of the world, but just would make us feel much more comfortable with all stock parts. My buddy got rid of the stock tires right after the accident and got the Giovanna's and everything was put back as good as possible with the rims for alignment. I am looking into aftermarket adjustable ball joints, but trying to avoid that cost by redoing the alignment by my buddy with the shop! Well guys, thanks again for everything, but if anyone still has a set i'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks and hope to see most of you guys this coming Saturday. Most of you guys going to attend?!?!
