2 observations: 1) I thought the bumper inserts on the '07's were car-colour but i guess they only painted the non-black trucks. 2) I noticed the rad fan is loud when it kicks on and you are outside the truck, but I guess thats because it has 420Hp to cool. :)

Thing looked totally mean sitting there when i pulled up to the dealership. Was a good entrance.

Ahhh, congrats Kramsay! I'll bet you are reading the manual right now, aren't you!

The insert should be body-color, but it's still textured. It may look unpainted because of the texture, and of course, black color.

as a matter of fact is 1:40am here and the manual is right in front of me.

Now just pop your 407 ETR on the inside of the windshield, get a friend to spot for you and see what that puppy can do. Your ETR bill will also give you a nice time slip between entrance and exit.

Actually I just read the thread on the G-Tech device. If that thing works it makes my 407 ETR idea kind of lame.

Looks like you just picked up your ride, you might want to ease into letting it loose for a bit. Did your interior show up with stiched leather dash and hand brake like others are describing their 07's? Mine is an 06 - bought in September.

Mine just came off the assembly line a few days ago and though PDI. It was built in Detroit, shipped to Windsor and then came into Toronto via truck. I see a plastic parking brake and nothing about stitched dash. The only thing soft touch is the center console cover. I checked right away because of what I had read on the site.

Oh good, I was starting to get 07 envy and I've only had the truck for three months.

Welcome Kramsay and enjoy the SRT experience. The fan is one of the loudest I've ever heard. I use remote start from my house every morning and can hear when the fan comes on over the engine sound.
I'm in Erie just over the border and am convinced the Jeep goes faster since the cold weather arrived.

Congrats! Agree, the fan is loud. It come on a lot more when running the AC. The bumper inserts should be painted on the black 07's. I inspected a black 07 very close at my delaer the other day. They were definitely painted (and still textured).

I'll take a closer look. I picked it up at night, and they did not seem the same as the black colour, but as was said, it could be the texture throwing it off. No big deal anyway as they are black.

My only current envy is the pics shown by justyli which show all the soft touch leather which he says only comes on the export trucks. Mine is a '07 built for Canada (only a few miles across the Detroit border, but still export) and I don't have this.

Anyone in Canada or US have an '07 with leather on dash and door panels?

Mine was built in September and I just picked her up less than two weeks ago. Only soft touch I have is the center console as well. Perhaps there will be a vendor to make some extra touches like there are for the LXs.

There is a thread going where someone has asked if anyone overseas can get an idea whether the leather pieces can be bought. I am hoping we hear something. I am not going to overpay for them, but they look great.
