Any one ever had the rear warning system go off when there is nothing behind you?? Not just go off, but REALLY go off, like I'm about to run someone over!

I noticed your location....if there is ice on them they will do that.

This is happenning when your backing up?...Or when normal driving- if it is while driving, ive been having the same issue.

ok... i didnt back into a mailbox but i guess im just shot sometimes b/c when i back up in my toyota i get lazy sometimes b/c im ready for the beeping to tell me to wake d fck up..!!

I have had this happen when reversing by the side of my house. Sometimes the sensors go mad and there is no difference in distance to the time before when I backed up.:eek: Why this should do this sometimes and not others I can't think why.

thats when i get it mike , first thing in the morning when i reverse out my drive, i put it down to dew / water etc on a sensor
