so i have been thru my share of tunes and what not, but have always managed to get the TC light to come on and it's complimentary action (torque control)...however, lately i have noticed this light NEVER comes on and i never have any power cutout to the rears, is this strange? don't get me wrong it is cool as hell but at the same time strange as hell...i have known the tuning to pull most TC but it had never pulled it 100%, but just as i have said, i no longer have any torque management, atleast to my knowledge. is this how everybody else's TC works with a tune? ...oh and thought i would also add that i don't even have the button depressed and it is not lit up...

ur tellin me...i mean it used to be like 95% gone and would come on when accelerating out of turns mostly but now, nothing at all....basically spinning the tires everywhere now. if the transfer case wasnt functioning properly and i was only running in 2WD i would expect some kinda light (code) to be thrown...

Roger,
This is certainly strange!
Ok...back to the basics:
*Can you do a WOT standing start and fry the one front and one rear tire?
This would at least tell us if the transfer case clutches were activating.
If the front tire does not spin, then it could be a transfer case issue.

Let us know...one step at a time.

Hmmm, why won't a front tire spin? May need to have someone outside look at the front tires.
No two wheel diagonal peel?

Don't you mean the rear wheel (singular) spins?

We will solve this.

Pull the ABS fuse out and launch that beast. I'm sure the front left and right rear will go up in smoke.

okay, so i did manage to get a lil flicker of the traction light, but i was really goin all out accelerating into/out of a turn, but even tho the light came on i didn't notice it having any affect, matter of fact the Beast fishtailed out of the turn with the wheels spinning (damn this thing is stronger than ever lately)...here's a question for those that have had their Transfer case go bad...what are the indications that it has gone out? any lights, rough driving, what? going into the winter months i want to make sure everything is okay and that i do have the AWD when i need it, rather than ending up in a street light pole to diagnose the problem.

You would seriously know if the front wheels weren't engaging. If you launched it from a dead stop it would sit there and roast the tires even on a lightly modded jeep. Mine and I'm sure many others have experienced this when driving with the ABS and ediff fuses pulled out.

If it does this without the fuses pulled you have a problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVJlrUEcaso&NR=1
