If you mean front end ground clearance, it's 7 inches.

The Piston Deck Height is the distance the piston EDGE is in relation to the top of the cylinder deck.

We're trying to put together a low compression stroker if there is enough room.

We need the piston pin diameter, rod length, stroke, crank center to deck height and to develop the piston and ring package to handle big boost for huge power.

Thanks Several shops have already done this. Heat Performance has built a 426" stroker. Hennissey has built a 6.4L stroker. A local shop has also built a 6.4L with an offset ground crank. Contact one of these shops as they have already built a stroker engine. One thing the SRT Engs did was to move the cam shaft upward to allow for stroking. Overboring is a problem because of the cylinder wall thickness and possible over heating problems. HTH Gene

I've read that the Deck height (Centerline of crank to cylinder head deck face) is 9.250" inches.

I've read that the Stock 6.1 Rod Length 6.243" Center to Center.

Can anyone else confirm these measurements?

Can anyone tell me the stock 6.1 piston pin diameter?

Do you know the head gasket thickness and bore diameter so I can fiqure out the gasket volume and piston to head clearence? The cylinder head volume I read is 72cc. Can you confirm this also?

You can get head gaskets from Cometic in just about any thidkness you need. I have 74cc for the cylinder head volume in my notes but it can vary.
