Was showing the beast to a friend this morning when he noticed a nice bubble in my right rear tire. There went the pride:o


I called up GoodYear and found an EMT center that said they ll look at the tires


only 2900 miles on the tires. I have that inspection letter from GoodYear and I guess I can take that in too. I was going to wait till April but dont like the thought of a bubble in my tire ( No need to pull a firestone)

Should I expect any sh!t from them when I take it in, and can I trust the rims to them. How have any of your guys' experiences been. thanks

Had one of my tires repaired under warranty. Had a nail in it. They are covered for the first year, so it should be replaced free of charge.

where is stated that the tire is guaranteed from anything in the first year. I am surprised they didnt make you pay for a tire with a nail in it. the guy made it sound like the bubble was my fault vs a defect and the the latter would be replaced.

You should have been given a small green canvas case with a Jeep logo, which contained your manual and warranty info. The tire warranty info is contained in there too. The Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires are covered for both defects and road hazards for a year from the date of purchase.

I too had a sidewall bubble on my right front at 5,000 miles. Goodyear dealer first told me that it was my "fault" (must of hit something they claimed), but then they replaced this tire along with all the others without question when the recall letter arrived and the inspection of my tires revealed that I was elgible for free replacements. Like you, I choose to replace them now to avoid the sidewall blowout in the future.

Yes, it's the warranty that comes with the tire.
