The way cars are selling these days I'm not surprised that I am the only one. It will probably be me and a bunch of Caliber SRT4 guys....

Just got back. Road America is a killer track at 4 miles and we got to do lots of runs. Jeep represented big time, all the instructors were fighting over them. They even said it is more fun to drive than the Viper on the track. It kicked the snot out of all the other cars and came really close to the Viper time.

I was there on Saturday. What a great day! Every instructor raved about the Jeep. Took a hot lap with a pro driver in the Jeep around the 4.4 mile track. I turned down the Viper hot lap for a Jeep hot lap. Hugged the track like it was on rails.

I can;t wait till me and my girlfriend go to CA to teh Thunder Hills rAceway in November. After reading this post from ya, I am jacked!

I did it at Laguna Seca. It was awesome especially going down the corkscrew; which is pretty blind when you go down it. It was cool to see the brakes glow when they pitted in.

BTW, what was your team names. I think ours was Buttercup and we won the overall points contest.

Buttercup, Ding a Lings and I forget the older guy's team name but he won. I got beat in the autocross for third place by .004 seconds. First and second were viper club guys that do this all the time and 3rd was an SRT mechanic from some dealership. Maybe next time....

Shake-n-Bake, Ricky Bobby Instructor

I was in Shake-n-Bake. We had some sweet drivers in our group. Took 1st in the Autocross comp.

Thats because you had all the ringers. You guys had all the guys from the Viper Club and the dealership guys. We had 4 people that didn't know how to drive a manual trans and some dudes wife that refused to drive over 60 becuase she was afraid.

Shake n Bake hand picked his group from the people he knew were good the year before. Either way it was a lot of fun, I may pay to go back next year with my friend who is on the list for a new viper.
