After about a month of being in the market for an SRT8 I found a good deal at a local dealership 07/red rock/17,253KM's fully loaded for $32,500...A different deal came that I just could not pass up on... A 2006 red SRT-10 RAM QC packing 500HP a modded heavy duty tranny, and 9mpg all for only $26,500. Oh yea, only 9000KM's

A step up???!!! HUH? Not quite. I like the trucks, but 500hp is stock - which isn't as fast a GCSRT8 stock.

With slicks and an experienced driver-LOL I have been to the track with several of them and OMG they just cannot get traction off the line if you do decide to run anyone do it in 3rd gear and wave bye, bye to them, if it's a jeep or an evo they will be saying bye, bye to you from a dig

CentralTexHemi 10-13-2008, 08:06 PM Well it is a step up in Horse Power, not that you can take full advantage of it being in a truck where all the power goes to the rear wheels but all the weight is up front but he can drop some $$$$ on it and have fun, I do know they are very sensative to mods so be careful modding hang out with the guys at www.vtcoa.com for help

LOL! Hemi, take off those hate gloves! Yes, for sure this truck will take skill to drive and I can't wait! Anyway I have some pics of the beast sitting at the dealership before I took her away. I will be posting some pics later of her all detailed up. And yes, for sure it will take lots of skill to get this truck to move! I just wanted all the ability of having a truck and an SRT model, so thats why it's a step up for me :]

Hate gloves did you once see me bash or make a negative or untrue post about the SRT10 Ram, uhhh NO I happen to be friends with many of them and I am a member on that site so before you call it hating please read first. I was simply stating the obvious and actually defended your saying that you were "Moving Up" so chill man they are great trucks I just wish they made them AWD like the Chevy SS so all that power can be put to the ground and I did not create the thread your SRT10 brothers did I was just showing proof of what I was talking about being discussed by owners so it did not like I had no idea what I was talking about. At least I did not say EWWW its A QC so it's REALLY SLOW-LOL

All around I prefer the Jeep.

At least not from a 100mph roll. :D anything slower with a supercharger and you will probably still roast your tires. Either way they are bad azz trucks and I would love to have one just for shi%ts and giggles. Nothing like doing a mile long burn out.:eek::D
