I just installed the kit I bought and when I start the truck and turn the lights on, both lights seem to flicker continously. Also the truck turned off. Now when I turn the lights on with the truck off, no problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You need to purchase a (1) 5 Pin Relay, (2) 5 Pin Relay Harness' ( http://www.oznium.com/relays ), (2) Fuses, (2) Fuse Holders ( http://www.oznium.com/wire ), and then you will need some wire. That is for a clean install. Than follow this:

An upgraded harness takes a "cue" from the stock harness, and tells a relay to turn on and send fused power from your battery directly to the HID ballast.

You will use 4 pins on the relay.

Run a positive wire from the stock harness to pin 85
And a ground wire from the stock harness to pin 86

Run a fused wire (maybe 14 or 16 gauge) to pin 30
Run a wire (14 or 16 gauge) from pin 87 to the positive wire on your ballast.

Ground your ballast.

Solder, crimp, heat shrink, waterproof.

Thanks streetWK. I took the easy way out and called buyhidkit.com. I was told that I needed a wire harness and that it would cost me an addition $40.00 including shipping. So I ordered the fogs (h10) and had them both shipped over night so everything can be done tomorrow. He did give me $25.00 off the order just to make me feel better.

Finally got the install done for the 8000K low beams and H10 fogs. I will take some pictures tonight. One thing I did notice is that with the 8000K you dont get that great of long range visibility on the highway. If I was to do it over, I would definitely go with the 6000k. Looks wise though the 8000K with the matching fogs are awesome.

Don't regret it too much. I have both kits and although the 6000k is brighter the range is not much longer if at all. So enjoy those lights :)

The Ballast Is Comming In Contact Of The Cars Chassis, Which Is Messing With The Computer System, Put Some Type Of Barriar Between The Ballast And Then With Relays It Will Take All Of The Flicker Out. Have A Good One.
