No. The "Check Engine Light" will be extra. :D lol

Actually KOOKS is about to release an 02 sim that will fix the problem.

I've yet to see any actual, dyno proven data, to show that the kooks headers do anything for performance. Can anyone show me a before/after dyno?

37 HP and 47 TQ Gained from bolt ons?!? Proof? Line a stock one next to me and watch me spank it.

387 HP 400 TQ TOTAL. Horsepower and Torque cost money and if anyone can show me a MOD for our SRT8's that makes more HP/TQ for the money, ill eat my words. And mind you this is with NO TUNE to let the ECU know headers have been installed and to have it compensate.

Awesome, thank you Inferno and South. My next question:

Has the CEL issue been resolved from Kooks? Or is that still a problem? Also, has the issue with the Cats not reaching the correct temperature been resolved? I'd hate to have to bore out my Cats later on. I've read some real horror stories....

George R said he has something in the works for teh CEL as for me I could care less, I have a Dashawk and just clear it every 300 or so miles, it the same code catalytic under threshold the ECU thinks the cat has failed after a certain amount of miles so it throws the light, I can tell you right now that the truck pulls just as hard with the light on, its a light to tell you a cat has failed, or you have an emission problem, catalytic failure.

As for the cat temp issue I have read a few guys say a few different things so I cant comment either way. Ill tell you this though my cats clog and there getting replaced with a piece of pipe by KOOKS and thats the end of the Cats. Who the hell needs them anyway. Not me, maybe you are different. Hope this helps.

Doesn't that seem a little expensive?

That's what I was thinking. But I'm cheap and poor. So what do I know.

Thanks.
