We started at 38k and after negotiations Im at 35k out the door. If i buy should I get an extended warranty? I havent seen the car in person but is there anything I should look for? I wanted to purchase an 08 but.....I havent found the right deal yet.
mortimer 10-10-2008, 01:56 AM I'd shop around a bit. You could probably find a new or nearly-new '08 for real close to that price. The interior is nicer on the '08's IMO and the MyGig radio ROCKS.

DevssrT 10-10-2008, 03:40 AM Despite that being a really great price, Im sure you can find an early 08 in that ballpark
Vinnysrt8 10-10-2008, 06:14 AM u could buy an 08 for the same price
SRTYA 10-10-2008, 06:27 AM Not sure where you are located but I have heard rumors that there is a dealer here in Central Florida (Napleton Jeep in Kissimmee) that has two left over brand new loaded 07's. Supposedly they will let them go for $30,000. I have not confirmed this rumor as a matter of fact I have never heard of this dealership, but if it is true that would be a killer deal IMHO.

Thats pretty much the same thing that I bought in the end of July. New 07 with 350 miles and loaded for $36K out the door. I thought I got a phenominal deal, but had I looked around here a little bit first, I would have held off and found a better deal.
For the money you are getting a great vehicle, but there's no sense in spending more that you need too. It's worth expanding your search and traveling a hundred or so miles to save a few grand.
chadd 10-10-2008, 02:12 PM Thanks guys. Im with you Im pretty sure i can find a better deal. I found this what do you think? Its in chicago and im in los angeles if that changes it at all.
08 black 6600miles fully loaded for 34500. Its a private seller.

that a good deal
BlackJeepSRT 10-10-2008, 05:58 PM Like the others said, you can get a better deal. They should sell it for around $30k. They aren't the only dealer looking to get rid of the SUV's. If they have your number, they will call you within a week. Also, I highly doubt they will sell it and if somebody does come along it's unlikely they will have the credit or back out of the deal over high interest.
Good luck!

It will cost you roughly $600 to get it to you. It is hard spending that kind of money and not getting to see it, but could be your deal.

Maybe one of the local forum members can check it out for you.

$600 is a little on the light side considering it would be in excess of 2000 miles. Double that figure and then some.;)
I paid $700 and mine was delivered 600 miles.
chadd 10-12-2008, 07:14 PM I have several dealers on the verge of giving me the deal i want. I have settled with the figure of 32k for a low milage 08 jeep srt8. So with tax, title, and license, add around 3k. And a certified chrysler 100k 7 year warranty add another 2,200. That brings me to around 37k out the door. Thanks for you help guys. I think I will have this deal done by the end of this week.
BlackJeepSRT 10-12-2008, 07:22 PM I'd have them throw in the warranty to close the deal. Just my opinion.
chadd 10-12-2008, 07:25 PM Ill try! Hell yeah I cant wait!
BlackJeepSRT 10-12-2008, 07:35 PM Got a link to the deal in question?
SRTOCHO 10-12-2008, 09:15 PM chadd,
head down to Long Beach Jeep. I picked mine up my 08 for 38,000 out the door. I really like the look of the all black interior.
36 chambers 10-25-2008, 10:32 AM To Late U Should Have Bought A Chally :)
OneBadJeep 10-25-2008, 03:26 PM I paid 41k for my 08, SRT I, II, fully loaded, don't spend that on an 07 when the 08 interior is so much nicer!!!
