Only 1000 Grand Cherokees....I wonder how many SRT8s will come out of that?

My 2nd SRT8 is moving along way ahead of schedule. It's about to roll off the assembly line and I should have it next week, or the week after, my dealer says.

So it seems this "shut down" does not effect specialty vehicles such as our SRT's.

I don't think the shutdown is in effect yet and it looks like when it does, it will be only temporarily - maybe a couple of extra weeks during the holidays.. Congrats, by the way. I wish I could afford a second one. :D

SRT's are just GC's when on the lines... they all only get build when the plant is running. The shutdown has not started yet

I'm convinced every time this happens we get a batch of bad vehicles. Disgruntled employees and stop start manufacturing leads to errors and sabotage. I'm sure some of the forum horror stories with new vehicles are due to this problem.

I read on the other forum, that shutdowns do not effect specialty vehicles.
