Is anyone interested in doing the research on ordering the leather dash caps for the SRT8 GC? I, for one, would be willing to pay for someone to order and ship me those parts to install on my SRT. Of course, if there are other leather pieces available, I would consider those as well. Maybe if there are enough people here in the States willing to buy those pieces, it could get the price down a bit, but I personally don't care about price that much. I would LOVE to have those pieces in my Jeep!!!!!

Same concept here, but I'd like to buy the European WH taillamp lense assemblies. I'd be curious on pricing, shipping and general availability.

I believe the part numbers are not listed in that thread. Besides, if you find the part numbers, just cut and paste them into this thread so folks won't have to do the wild goose chase thing.

Anyway, the biggest issue is to find someone with access to the European dealers that is willing to procure this stuff (leather interior parts, not light lenses :rolleyes: ) for those of us interested.

What a jerk-off! I'm sure the "parts network" can get them. You can buy the whole danmed thing piece by piece if you wanted to. We need someone that lives in Europe (and appearantly NOT in France) to check into this for us.

I suspect that the model I have uses the same part numbers as European. The Dealer is pretty useless here but I might be able to order parts and ship from Saudi... it'd be spendy... more than someone shipping from Europe but I'd look into it if someone is desperate... maybe work out a trade on shipping exhaust?

swisssrt, thanks to you finally we have some hope that these parts may be available! I know that a lot of the owners in America are interested in the handbrake cover, the leather pad over the instrument cluster, and the leather pad over the stereo, but we already have the leather covered center console lid, so hopefully without that 4th part then the price maybe is closer to 500 or 600?

Startech (Brabus) is doing all this leather work für DCX Graz Austria where they build the WH exports models.

You wont love the price!! Rear lenses as per part numbes quoted earlier in this thread are $284.35 each.

Handbrake is $295 excluding the trimming.Apparently the jeeps interior is set up by jeep but then shipped to an independant trimming company for finishing.
I called 1 of them today to get a rough idea of price on the hand brake, dash cover (cap?) and the door cards.

Maybe this is why we pay much more for our GC than in the usa.

My local dealer told me startech (a brabus company) will deliver this leather parts only in exchange way afterwards.

Means you have to send your dashboard, door cards, etc. to startech/brabus in Bottrop/Germany and get in change some with leather on back.

The price only for the leather parts is in Euro 1,400 (incl. VAT) = 1,850 US $

I called startech/brabus in Bottrop and they told me you US guys should call the Brabus US importer

I know some guys from Germany i'll check with them if they can get it from the Jeep dealer over there.

It makes more sense to get the original parts trimmed but taking them off and sending them over here to be done could be a slow process.also, would drive round with no handbrake!!

That would be excellent. If you can take a picture of them (perhaps front and back) when you get them, that would be truly awesome. I'd like to make sure all of the connections match (I am sure that they do)

Just in case Tepster is still having tyrouble, I asked at the parts counter when having my SRT8 serviced.

The Dealer ( Olds, of Yeovil, Somerset) quoted the same part numbers, but with the suffix "AG", not "AF".

They are £140 and £120 respectivley, including tax, BUT on back order in UK, and a quick search indicated that there were none in what seemed to be a central european store- in Germany.

If I can enlist some technical assistance with our digital camera this weekend, I could remove the tail lights off mine and post `photos if anyone is interested- its only a couple of self tapping screws.

That would be excellent. What I am looking for is close ups of the back side of the lamp cluster. I believe it would be a perfect fit, but I just want to make sure that the electrical has the same (or at least close) connections.
