There definitely seems to be a few of us pretty damn close to each other especially out here in the valley. Let's see if we can hookup and see what other strange folks drive these badazz rides. Any suggestions? We could simply meet up at a cool park like Balboa and barbeque or meet up at another car expo like Euro Sundays in Woodland Hills. I know this is not the best time of year for a lot of people. Let's simply bounce some ideas off of one another and see what we can come up with...

This would be fun. I have gotten together with other LX people, and it has been fun. No, now is not a great time of year. People that are super close can do it impromptu. Something bigger will have to be a bit more timely.

We should plan on going to Spring Fling at Woodley Park in April. Even though I am a CPA and heavily in the tax business, I make time to go to that meet.

Cruisers in Northridge on (I think Friday nights) is a possibility. I believe that is more fun after the switch to Daylight Savings Time.

There is plenty of room in the parking lot of my office building in Agoura Hills to meet, and then launch a caravan to, say, the beach for lunch. This could be easy to do, perhaps going to the Paradise Cove Cafe. This time of year, there are not a lot of people going to the beach, and parking should be plentiful (even though it's not free)

There are a lot of possibilities. Not many of them, however, take place in the SFV and north. Most are done in the south bay and OC. Not too convenient if you live/work up here.

I'll try to get by the coffee place on Sunday. Most likely near 10:30A. I'd be curious to see how many cars show up.

Yes, tomorrow. I don't know if I will be able to pry the GC out of her hands (and probably won't if it's raining), so if not in the Jeep, I'll be in the 300C.

I'm down. The wife is working. I just had planned on washing the Cherokee. Don't think that is gonna happen now. I don't think too many cars (the Euro sportscars that usually do) will show with weather like this. But I'd still be down to have a cup of java and meet whomever.

For those not in the loop, Our Zoo and I met at a weekly collection of mostly european cars very close by to us. When I got there, a group of people came over and wanted to know all about the GC. They could not believe such a package was available.

When both of our cars were there, someone driving by in a black GC SRT8 saw our cars and virtually stopped in his tracks to see what was going on. It was great fun.

We should try to set up another get together soon.

Don't worry, it'll happen. Especially this time of year, it's a bit difficult to get everyone to be at the same place at the same time.

If everyone knows where everyone is, then as we travel around, we know who to meet up with.

i just saw a red GC srt-8 today morning at aroung 8:45 going northbound on the 405 passing the 118 fwy... it had the thousand oaks auto mall licence replacement.... i don't think he saw me because i connected to the 118..... i wonder if it's any one of you guys.

Well I'm down for wherever (for the most part) on Sundays or Mondays. If you guys want to meet in Woodland Hills/Calabasas where people show off their rides on Sundays, usually the last Sunday of the month is best. However, I was over there at 7:50 last Sunday morning to get Mickey Ds and there were like 40 cars over there. I was like wow! I always roll over there for a least a few minutes on Sundays (its not even 5 minutes from me) to check out the niiice rides.

140 miles @ 110 mph goes quickly. lol I will actually be in Laguna Beach this weekend, so it wont really be too bad of a drive. Im more excited to meet a fellow enthusiast than anything else. BBQ always sounds good ... Prowler

I don't think tomorrow will work for me. Just got back from Mammoth and have plans already. Besides, the GC is absolutely filthy.

The GC is the perfect ride for the L.A.-Mammoth run. One of my fastest times yet, and effortless passing on the two-lane stretches of U.S. 395. I'll post a separate thread for that data.

Perhaps we can make the Roasters meet something we can do on the "nth" week of each month. Just an idea.

Well, there probably were only 30 or so cars when I got there. Not the best showing, but some nice rides nonetheless. Unfortunately I only started taking pics when most of the rides had left. Well thanks David & Ike for showing up. Good to meet you guys. For all you SoCal people that are interested in meeting up, we plan on doing this again. Awesome David, I'm posting this on SRT8.com to see if we can have a big SRT turnout period. I think that would be cool. If my wife is around, I'll have her drive her Charger. That or someone can shuttle me home and I'll bring it too.

Nice job with the pictures, Andrew. It was good to talk about current and future mods. It was certainly surprising when Jay Leno showed up with whatever he calls that beast with the air cooled V-12. BTW, he is a real 'car guy'. He could not have been more gracious. He let everyone who wished to take their picture with him while he was talking about how they built the car.

I will plan on being there on the 29th. Hope we have lots of SRTs.
