Hi, I am looking at buying a jeep srt-8. I found one with 53000 miles. Its a black 2006. It has everything except dvd. Is there anything I should be looking out for on this thing? They are asking $22,500 for it.

Yes, I am a little concerned about the miles. But I have looked at all the ones for sale in my area and this one is in better shape then the ones with less miles. Heck one of them even had only 18,000.

Say this jeep was driven very ruff, what would be the most likely thing to break?

With that many miles ask if the dealer can certify it as a CPOV (Chrysler Pre-Owned Vehicle) you'll get a 7/70k or 8/80k warranty (can't remember which) that'll cover you for a bit in case anything major breaks down.

Well we picked up today. I got it for $24,600 with an extended warrenty for 4 years 100,000 miles. But the darn brakes are squeaking already. :mad:

sorry to hear! but if it makes you feel better I have 4k on my 08' & it startin to give a little squeek! I knew it was bound to happen & was kinda waiting on when,just never thought it would happen so soon! still in love with it...

I did end up getting the bumper to bumper warranty upto 100,000 miles. The jeep has treated us good so far. But its a hard decision on what one I want to drive. :D
