Hi guys...please help:

I am in the market for an SRT8 and had a few questions about the look of the vehicle, specifically the decals. (2006 models)

Does anyone know why some SRT8's have the 'Jeep' emblem/decal on the hood and others that I see do not.

Also, I am looking at purchasing an 06 silver srt8 and the rear door appears different than any other that I've seen.

The Jeep emblem is missing and the "srt8" emblem is in its place (right on the rear door handle)

Is it normal for 06's to vary slightly? Has anyone ever seen this??

Badges are just that. You can buy them, remove them, etc. There is only one model Jeep SRT8. I guess if you are unsure by the badges, open the freaking hood! :D:D

Basically, some like to remove some badges, others like to add badges, some have no badges.

From the factory it would have Jeep on the mid of the hood and the center rear.

you dont need the decals to determine if its an srt8... if she looks beastly than its an srt8 and someone above said it perfectly with what people do with the badges etc..

btw.. your pics dont work (at least for me anyways)

I understand where your coming from. I too have to check for the emblems to confirm that a true SRT8 is in front of me. ;) The idiot's on this site look at the engine, brakes, etc., but I know the best route. :)

Let me help you. Looks like someone just debadged it & relocated the SRT8 emblem. Pretty popular mod I wouldn't worry about it.

That is one DIRTY car. Engine bay looks terrible and interior isn't that clean either. Not sure if that was the best the dealer could do (which scares me) or if they just didn't give a chit.

You can do WAY, WAAAAY better for a few thousand more. I would never buy one of these with 63K miles, especially not in that condition.
