What are the benefits? Literally. I'm curious as to what my dealership will say since my oil was black and they used a white filter. It's bad enough I only got 1 key but now they didn't even do an oil change if it was even changed at all for the past 11,000 miles.

The Service Manager called and said there was an RO for an oil change before I took delivery. The oil was pretty dark. It only had 2500 miles and synthetic is supposed to be good for at least 5000 miles. I did notice a drop of around 3mpg after the oil change. Weird or just different driving habits.

I'm old school so I do it every 3k miles. I can do it much easier since I get access to my shop anytime I want.
