Nope, didn't take it up that fast. Took a little drive, got some gas, reset it going 55 mph and a mostly even road coming down hill added about 1-2mpg. So 18mpg is very easy at 55 mph.

I allways avg 18.6 driving 65-80 going to and from the drag strip plus making 4-5 runs in the 1/8 mile and its 160 miles round trip on the freeway. I use mobil 91 octain and my race wt is 5090 + lbs.

70-80 mph I get around 15mpg. 18.6 must be nice, is it your tune?

I got 16.6 a few months back on a long trip, but that's about the best I ever see. Must be nice.

I did 180 miles on Saturday... I got 15.0 even... Bone stock besides CAI. Averaged 75-85 the whole way.

Mine did 17.5 on a 135 mile trip at an avg. speed of 70 with a few bursts to 80 and some stop and go.
