My dad's SRT8 is going into production this week, probably won't see it till January. Mine rolled off the line on a monday, and it arrived at my dealer thursday. Usually about how long does it take to go into production, and how long does the whole process take, from the day you order to the day it makes it to the dealership? I got a VIN assigned about 3 weeks later, I got notified early last week that it would build this week and ResumeSpeed sent me a PM yesterday that it was built last Friday. Delivery to the dealer here in the Pacific Northwest is supposed to be in 3 weeks. Not sure if I'm typical. I'm a Daimler-Chrysler employee by way of Freightliner and this is my company car. Not sure if that made it quicker or slower or no different than anyone else. Mango 12-13-2006, 05:37 AM These build/delivery times seem very slow. The dealer ordered mine (fully loaded 07 black gc srt-8) early November and last news I got it still wasn't built. I was told it would take up to two weeks to get it delivered once it was built. I can't see it taking too long to get to the dealership after it's built. The dealer did tell me once a VIN has been assigned, it will be quick. I live in south-central PA and I ordered my 06 GCSRT on Jan. 6th of 06 and picked it up May 1st, 06. Hope yours arrives sooner than mine did! | ||
