I bought the Jeep rather than one of the cars, because it is all wheel drive and it will get around in just about any road condition. Where I live there is as much ice and snow as dry weather. The Jeep gets around in just about anything but very deep WET snow. The front bumper is no substitute for a snow plow. Other than that makes very good all around street vehicle. Also it is a SRT and behaves like one.

I bought the engine, and picked the wrapping that best suited my purposes as a daily driver and dad to 3. :eek:

i've always loved the looks on a grand cherokee. some of the nicest/cleanest sounding audio systems i've ever heard have been in jeeps. and when i finally got around to purchasing a ride there was no other vehicle that could offer me everything the jeep does for the money. not even close. and the rare factor was what sealed the deal for me. my dealership had previously sold 5 gc srt8's. 1 to the president of nascar, and 2 to nextel cup drivers. good company

I'm a Jeep fanatic. Mostly into lifted stuff but when I heard about this sucker, and time came to retire the ZJ as my DD, I had to get one. Now I have two badazz Grand Cherokees, one for the trail and one for the track.

It's so unique, and such a sleeper -- Jeep has always been known for off-road kickazzedness, the fact that they had released an SUV that can compete (and DESTROY) Camaro's, Firebirds, most BMW's, Mustang GT's and even give Corvettes a good run for their money intrigued the hell out of me. One test drive and I was sold, sold, sold!

I love the way it looks..better than all the other SRT8's, it's the fastest, and the wife wouldn't let me have a sports car...she wanted an SUV. Ha ha

I love to mod my ****. when i heard this rig was comin out i instantly popped a woody. i usually go with cosmetic, but this Jeep came super SEXY right out of the box. It took me a while to get one, but it was sure worth the wait. can't beat the fact it's all wheel drive either. God i love my Jeep

Wife (holding a drink from Sonic): "OK"

Me: "Hang on to your drink this thing takes off pretty hard."

Wife: "Sure, whatever"

Me: "No I mean really, both hands honey. Or put it in the cupholder."

Wife: "OK."

Wife: "JESUS FOCKING CHRIST AARON!!!"

Wife: "HOLY $HIT STOP!! STOP!!!!"

I always drove dodge pickups, and never considered buying a jeep ever. While car shopping for my fiancé I dicovered to TBSS. 6 months later my transmission when out when I was out of state. I got pissed and decided to buy a TBSS. At the last minute I figured I should check for other "fast" SUVs out there. I was thinking maybe a used BMW or something. I was so ignorant to the SRT line that I thought the 6.1 was going to be a new engine in the challenger. I am soooooo greatful that the GCSRT was the first thing that came up when googled "fast suv." 3 days later I owned one.

My offcial answer is:
I bought it for the engine and the AWD.

I bought mine for all of the above reasons except for wanting to put a lift kit on it.

Had A Magnum Srt8 Went To Track Experience,then Got The Jeep.........

I saw a picture of it in November of '05 and went to the dealer the next day and ordered it. I love everything about it, looks,power, haw rare it is. :)

Saw it at the Jacob Javits Center for the first time- told my Dad to get one, but he wanted a Nicer Interior (hes had his fair share of fast cars)- got a Promotion at my Job, bought one for myself lol.
Other than the fact that people dont know what they are and the sleeper factor, I needed/wanted a new car- it was either a Charger or a Jeep- then realized where I live (snow, rain, etc) I needed a more versatile vehicle- Bought the jeep without even test driving it, and couldnt of been happier!

been into mustangs, have had several newer ones, decided to branch out on a different DD and was sorta looking, My buddy had gotten a 08 and id ridden in it a couple times and was very impressed, then we went out and got trashed one night and my wife had to drive it, and she decided she might be interested..saw one used for a awesome price/miles and traded the Mach 1 in.

currently on the lookout for a Teal 93 Cobra..

I just thought it was really cute. I couldn't believe how fast it was on my way home...

Actually it replaced my F350 diesel with a banks kit. It had to be some what winter ready and most of all fast...

Its the only SRT that could pull my boat and carry both dogs and both kids. Plus, it makes the TBSS look cheesey (sp?)

Well I work @ the dealer & drove all but 1 of the srt's except the srt6 & when I got to drive the 1st Jeep srt on our Island...whew! the others seem a whole lot slower off the line...the G force you feel when you mash that throttle is what sold me, plus my wife & I always wanted a suv..couple that with employee discount! we just had to order one!

I had a front wheel drive VW GTI at the time and needed a winter beater, LOL....seriously!

I wanted a fast AWD SUV that I wouldn't see someone else driving on the road all the time.
