After a year of research (mostly on this great site!), and enviously listening to my neighbour accelerate way from the stop sign by my house twice a day in his, I pulled the trigger and bought an 07 GC SRT8. Picking her up today!!!

It's black with full load, minus rear DVD.
It has only been 'in service' for 11 months and has 9700 kms (6000 miles) on it; it's been pampered since new--great paint, no dings, scratches, wheels are perfect, ............. only one warranty visit on record so far (brake pedal issue). The original owner was an older guy with lots of cash and had it as a 3rd vehicle.
I live in Canada (Vancouver area) and paid $37500 which I think is a pretty fair price considering it's a Cdn truck with 25 months of factory warranty remaining. Believe it or not, dealers up here are still listing 08s at 62k !!!

I am so psyched, I have knots in my stomach!!!

CONGRATS!!!! You will love it-AND start a little fund right away to start modding. The truck will seem fast at first and scare you to death on your first "foot thru the floorboard" takeoff...BUT trust me you will always want more :D
