I've posted some of my findings on performance runs at the drag strip. My findings; little or no improvements after icing the intake, warming the engine to operating temps helps performance, launches at varying rpms vs flashing the convertor, off idle, 1000 rpm produced my best ET and 60' times, gasoline types, can't really say but I ran a mix of non oxygenated 93 oct gas mixed with 5 gals of 100 oct unleaded, (both available here in Minnesota) ,track temp was 30* and air temps were ideal very cold, (more dense air), ideal conditions for racing, results 13.31ET, 1.870 60', 101.97 mph was my best run. I'll be running again on April 29th with a drop in K&N air filter (for now) and the front muffler replaced with a MagnaFlow X pipe version. Again these are my times and every vehicle runs different, I'm hoping to break into the 13.2s ET or faster. My opinion there is a lot more performance left in this engine. Gene:D
