If I purchase an 07 when will the warranty expire? Is it based on the original purchase date (meaning it will run into 2010), or does it just run through the end of 2009?

36 months/36k miles, so if bought new today, warranty would run until Sept. 2011 (or sooner if you hit 36k miles).

Thanks all! I am considering a used 07 this year instead of buying waiting until next to buy used 08.

They go by the inservice date weather you buy it new or used. So lets say it was an 07 demo with dealer plates but never registered then is will go by when you buy it thats the inservice date.

So, factory warranty is 3/36? I guess no addiitonal powertrain coverages on the SRT8?

Thanks!

if you give me the last 8 digits of the VIN# of the Jeep that you want to buy and the current mileage, I can tell you exactly how much warranty is left:)

If you're buying a NEW '07 (leftover, demo unit or something) warranty will start from the day you purchase it

If it's already been owned by someone else, will start from the date it was purchased as NEW

This is correct. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
