there has been a few of us TBSS guys going and we are looking to make REGULAR trips out but Northstar Dragway is having their "Factory Rubber Shootout" this Friday....



it would be BADASS to have a few SRT8's out manhandling these cars with us.....

would be a neat science experiment in and of itself.........besides the fact that it would require a loan for gas.........




i have met many GCSRT8's in the DFW that hit the parkinglot GTG's.....surely 1 is here and likes to run at the track.....this is a 1/8th mile track and the race is won in the 60'.....

most of the fast cars in this factory rubber shootout are Manual cars and when you shoot out on em they seem to ALWAYS over drive their tires and you just hammer the piss out of em......

A STOCK GCSRT8 would have a really good shot at the $200 muchless one with some work......i have been rehabing an ACL reconstruction and have not been able to run it and this Fri. is my first chance to try my hand at it.....we'll see how it goes.........

but damn bois.....come out....fun times and fast SUV's how does it get any better than that.....i would love to have some more badges represented to take it to these race cars with street tires.....alot of guys try to put the 600+ HP car on street tires and our 60's bust their asses and it makes them overdrive their tires........

none in the DFW that run around at the tracks......




but damn how can they say "FACTORY RUBBER SHOOTOUT" and in the same breath with a straight face say sorry mr./mrs. ONLY AWD.....that is RETARDED at best......the intent is to get folks off the street and on the track and at the same time make it interesting for EVERYONE and damn then they go and make some STUPID caveat like that........
