Was watching the UFC88 fights last nite and my son-in-laws friend Mikey started bragging about how fast his Bimmer was. So I start asking ?. What's the top speed on it? Over 200 he says. After bantering back and forth w/dumb answers from him, he finally says he has gone 160mph. I'm still thinking to myself, ya whatever! Ask him if he wants to go for a ride in my jeep. Of course, he doesn't. That's after my daughter tells him he'd get whiplash! I ask him if he wants to run it against me? He answers no, he didn't bring it cause it's in the shop being fixed. He drove a Prius he rented. So I start laughing at him and say let's go for it then! He just gives me an arrogant BMW stare, and I'm still LOL! I'd say, he's setup for a good a** kicking in the near future.

He hasn't gone 160, as if you didn't know, because unless he has the Sport Package the car is limited to 130, and even if he does, its got a limiter at 155.

What model BMW does he have? Little tuning and he could be close...M5/M6 ;)

You would wax him. I raced a friend once who owns an SRT8 Jeep (stock). I was in my old 95 M3 at the time (equivalent in 'quickness' to the 330). We ran from 60-135 and he passed me at around 90 and just kept pulling. Then we raced from a dig and he always killed me.

It would be a different story now with my new blown M3, BUT if he started modding then he'd give me a run for my money! :) No way does that guy's car do over 200. Mine does 180-190, and i've had it to 170 with some 6th gear to go...330s don't have the power or gearing to get up there like that. He sounds like a dummy.

i said it before and i'll say it again... i always shrugged off the 3 series until i ran the 335i. if i didn't have the cam, i don't even know...

i'm not sure if he was stock but they're a 3.0 Twin Turbo rated at 300HP. and a tune = more boost.
