I just went on prochargers website and they are coming out with a supercharger for the 6.1. This will be pretty awesome but it doesnt really give any info or if they are gonna make it for the our jeeps.

it should be fine, it's not like a turbo where you have to worry about where everything goes.

If I had a nickel for every time I read the words "slated for development" I'd have a whole lot of nickels. Maybe I'm a victim of working in an industry where those words are usually code for: somebody suggested the idea at a meeting, but I'm gonna file this one in the "I'll believe it when I see it" folder. I hope I'm wrong.

Arizona Speed and Marine is also working on an intercooled roots type blower, with better fuel control to control a lean out situation that can cause a major internal meltdown. (LX Forums Post) Just wait as these products are under development? Some other new power products? DCX has purposely made any Power Adders hard to Engineer! If we all keep knocking at these vendors doors something will happen, maybe? IMHO Gene

That kit will be available for the SRT-8 versions of the 300C, Magnum and Charger. Haven't heard anything about one for the CG SRT-8 yet.

While it's great that more companies are bringing out additional products, I have to ask, why even bother with a roots blower? Why not just start with a twin screw?

Amen to that. Greater efficiency=more boost with less heat=MORE HP.

on the G35/350z, the Procharger kit had a really bad habit of blowing chuncks of piston and/or con rod through the block. i think most of the problems stemmed from a bad tune with the stock Procharger engine program

You can rewrite that statement with any brand of blower/turbo/N2O in reguards to a bad tune. As far as the roots blower, i think we (GC SRT) need more on top, not a ton of torque more....

My Dad is ordering that full kit, with Stage Two, for his Jeep SRT8 when it comes in next month. I can't wait to see how it performs!!

I just heard of another SC kit that has solved any lean out problem plus other tuning problems. I don't know when it will be available but at 5#s of boost it out performs any on the market today on 92 oct pump gas. No more burned pistons or other internal damage. Cost? I'll post this information when available, stay tuned. Gene
