: Needed a new DD so........

I traded my 2007 BMW 335i in for a 2008 GCSRT8. I need something with alot more room, still wanted power, and the AWD for winter here in Colorado. This thing fits everything I was looking for and more! I'm in love with it. I've always wanted the 6.1L Hemi as well. It's just awesome, but I don't have to tell you guys that!

I'll just tell you a little about my situation. I'm a paraplegic, I was wounded in Afghanistan while serving with the 173rd Airborne Brigade in 2005. So I also needed an SUV that is low to the ground to get into, which isn't an easy task to find. Before I purchased this, I had an '07 BMW 335i like I stated before, and I also have a 2006 Pontiac GTO w/ a magnacharger, among other things (see video in sig). Having two RWD coupes in Colorado with a dog I just got just isn't practical at all. So I went out a week ago and nabbed this baby! I'm SO glad I did! Also, glad to get away from that damn BMW stereotype, can't stand that forum anyways! (Unless any of you are here too........ haha jk)

It's because people like you that we have our freedom to buy/drive cars like the GC SRT8. So I want to say thank you and welcome.

Also, you may want to check out the BWoody lowering spring thread.

It drops it down even more and gives the jeep a killer look and handling.

Heh, not exactly sure which one it is.

Hmm, interesting. May have to check that out. Out of any SUV I've transfered into, this is the easiest, but getting the chair taken apart and up into the thing still is a little bit of a workout!

Nice, I'm in Thornton. Just about the complete opposite side of town! I see you've got a few nice mods on yours, in time I'll be doing a few myself. I mean, most of my mod money is going to the GTO, e.i., heads and cam probably this winter. But I am thinking headers, exhaust, intake, and tune eventually on this thing. Until I get bored with that, then it always goes to bigger and more expensive things...... :D

Great looking jeep and Thank you for your service.

I actually hung out with a friend of a friend last night who was shot in the neck in Iraq and is paralyzed. My heart really went out to the guy.

After conversing with him I really feel it is despicable that people claim to support troops and not the war. It doesn't work that way. That kills moral and weakens our forces.

I'm a T8 complete, but the bullet is still in my T11. Its not causing the paralysis, and would cause more problems if they took it out, so its in there for now.....
