I am from out of state and I got a ticket. What do I need to know? Can I get an attorney and get out of it or do I have to go to driving school? Officer was too busy trying to keep his chest inflated to be very much help. BTW 54 in a 40mph zone.

tons of traffic schools on line, you get 1 speeding tic freebie every 6 mos or a year....the school keeps the points off your insurance.

Crazy Talk!! Fight em all, costs you double the fine on the front end, but between point and insurance you save more than tripple on the back end. Plus you get to approach insurance companies like your a nun.

how do you contest? I know in NC you just give an attorney a fee and he/she "contests" it for you. Is there some sort of trick to contesting a ticket in Cali? Is it worth it to get an attorney?
