Sold my '66 427 Corvette and ordered a GC SRT8 from my dealer today. Silver, no options. Dealer thinks It'll be in in February.

Congrats on the GC SRT8 purchase, was that a 435 HP 427.:)

'66 was the single 4-barrel, not tri-power like the '67-'69 models. 427/425.

Mine had 9.5:1 compression, ported heads, roller cam, headers, stud girdle, Doug Nash 5 speed, other stuff. Great power, but 40 year old chassis/suspension. Had it 22 years, and after the Viper, it was scary to drive fast.

We've learned lots of things about going fast on a road course in 4 decades...
