Power Sunroof and Side Air Bags can be ordered seperately, yet are both included in the Option Group 1.

There are alot of items in the Option Group 1. Basically, the Option Group 1 is like having an SRT-8 Limited, and without it, it is like having an SRT-8 Laredo. Without the Option Group 1, you don't get the padded door panels, heated seats, auto dimming rear view mirror, and other "Limited" items like it.

I can't understand why anyone would want to delete some safety items like side curtain air bags? I have the SRT-1 option Group and love all the features it includes. This vehicle has a very good safety standard record like equipped. (roll over mitigation, pass. air bag deploy system, traction control) Just buy a laredo w/o all this stuff. People buy a SRT-8 and then complain it can't pull a 7500# trailer, this is a performance vehicle, not a U-haul puller, it is a super vehicle, straight line, brakes, accleration, corners great." But to each his own" My GC SRT-8 will never pull a trailer, go off roading but beat the hell out of many other vehicles like a TB SS or Mustang GT, runs low 13's stock and high 12's with some simple mods. In my opinion this is one of the best vehicles coming out of Detroit for a long time and DC is on the right track giving people what they want PERFORMANCE. MHO of course. Gene

if i was all about safety i don't think i would be looking to purchase a land rocket like the srt8 jeep. i don't want a sunroof because they almost always end up developing problems with leaks, squeaks, or rattles especially with the addition of an aftermarket stereo system.

A 'special order' can only be done within the limited confines of the Mfr. product offering and factory abilities. It's simply a mix 'n match of available options.
Anything beyond that would be considered "custom" and would need to be done post-purchase, whether by the dealer or a customizer.
