Whats your 0-60, 1/4 mile, and 60 foot times? also whats gas milage do u get city and hy... abusing it and babying it?



Ive got the srt-10 ram and just looking at some differnt options ive always liked the jeep use to have one last yr but not the srt version. neway this truck is a real pig and just looking for something that may be a lil better on fuel and have some more room for people .. neway my specs are below

my 1/4 stock 12.9 , 60foot 2.0 , 0-60 not sure
I get 11mpg city and 16 hy babying it
I get 6mpg city and 10 hy lettin her go
and 4mpg racing

and 4mpg racingThe good news; the performance #'s will be almost identical. The bad news; the fuel consumption will be almost identical as well. If the GC SRT-8 had the 6 speed manual it would get much better mileage. The rpm, given the 3.73 gears, & the excellent 5 speed Auto. is pretty high @ 70 mph & above. The 6 speed from the Viper would cut the rpm almost in half with its deep OD 6th gear.

hmm so the launch is just a hair quicker ... guess ill have to go take one for a test drive... i went to the dealer here in west palm beach and they say they have 3000 veichels on the lot "largest dealer in usa " aparenly and they have 0 srt 8 jeeps ... so there gonna give me a call when one comes in..

Bone Stock times SRT-8 GC; 13.31 ET, 1.870 60', 101.97 mph, launched at 1000 rpm and traction control fully on. I beat a built Pontiac WS6 on the big end. This time got a lot of attention, an SUV that fast bone stock! Only 650 miles on the odometer and they get faster when broken in! Gene :D
