Guys, As i told you before I was about to pay the down payment for the new BMW 335i sedan when I saw this beautiful GC beast. I have stoped all my plans in order to decide my next move.
The only drawback facing me with the SRT8 is the local dealer we have here in Egypt, absolutly awful. We have lots of the 5.7 litre version roaming the streets but not one SRT8. So does it have any common problems (Heard few complaining about the gearbox) that i should know about? reliability issues in general?
I know its a mighty beast , but is the consumption that Bad? :confused:

any ideas when will they change this grand cherokee shape?? cause i dont want to be surprised in a year or two with a new shape .

1) This is one of the coolest vehicles ever!
2) Only a few minor problems exist, and 99% of them have fixes.
3) Positives far outweigh the negatives.
4) The body style was just changed in '05.

This ride is a thrill. It does use a lot of Petrol/Gas

I get 12.3 MPG average. I don't know what Gas prices are like in Egypt but you need to calculate the running cost

I'm also getting more frustrated by the small Gas Tank. Even on relatively short trips say 250 Miles you have to stop and refuel

But its all worth it for the fun of driving the SRT8

Gas in Egypt aint that expensive but the highest octane is unleaded 92

The warranty is still not totally approved over here i guess... But my importer says no problem about that issue... Anyway welcome to the board :)

The only problem I find is throttle related. Whenever I touch the gas pedal I almost rear end the guy infront of me. :D Scared the crap out of my friend when we was racing a Dodge Ram from an intersection and i was behind him and decided to punch it.
