: What non-stock RFT are people using
TonySRT8 08-11-2008, 07:56 AM I'll be in the market for a new set of tires after I get my lowering springs installed.
I would prefer to keep run flats if possible. Also I live on top of a mountain chain so we get good snow storms here. So I'll need at least all season. Or I'd be willing to buy two sets. One winter and one summer set. I'm leaning more towards the 2 set option.
Thanks for any help.

BlackJeepSRT 08-12-2008, 09:31 AM I'm running the Toyo's 275 up front and 315 in the rear. It seems to be a popular choice but now is discontinued.

Are you guys talking about Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport RFT or the regular Dueler H/P sports without the run flat Technology?
07Beast 08-12-2008, 05:36 PM I need new front tires. What size is recommended in the Bridgestone for the front? I chave not found them in the factory 255/45r20 in rft.

A lot of people, including myself when I switch use 275/40/20 front and 315/35/20 rear tire combos.
but just as many use the original stock sizes.
07Beast 08-12-2008, 07:12 PM Does that give better performance? Does the combe keep the ratio the same for the AWD, I have been catching some grief from local tire shops about changing what I have.

SkyeHighSRT8 08-13-2008, 11:30 AM The 275/40/20 front and 315/35/20 rear is within the tolerance for the AWD system. (I think it's a 3% difference)
When my stockers are done, it will be the Dueler RFT for me, in the sizes seen above.

Hey Tony, If you live in a snow area and yur gonna lower the beast then you better order an extra front air dam also. Maybe 2, cuz that thing is gonna get ripped to shreds when you go through the snow. :D

Umm, I have not even thought about that. I guess I was just used to driving around in my 2000 GC limited I had before I got the SRT :(

Then go to a different tire store. Those shops should be used to people changing sizes these days, especially the performance crowd.
