After being gone for just shy of 1 month getting my hail damage fixed, it's about to come home to me. Good GOD I can't wait. I've got some headlight covers to put on and a catch can to put on and my hard wire kit for my radar detector. Hopefully there won't be any issues and it came out perfect. I'd hate to leave it there b/c something wasn't done right. Although, I'm pretty confident since I met the body shop mgr. last week and he loved the Jeep. They haven't had hardly any in there. He said when he heard it pull in he had to come see what sounded like that. I told him I just had the headers put on before I dropped it off and he knew what I was feeling. We'll see.....

You gotta be quick when dealing with me!! I know the Jeep sat there for 2 weeks before they even brought it into the shop. All in all..... the dealership also got hit by the same hail storm I was in. I was 1/4 mile from the dealership when it hit. They've been pretty damn busy. But still, all my parts were there except one back quarter window. It could have been done on time even with having to get a 2nd roof!

Agree, they did something whacky with the gears, tranny, tcase, and tuning in the SRT8 that makes the thing absolutely FLY off the line. I've driven my girl's 5.7 hemi limited GC.... it feels slow as monkey balls compared to an SRT, and 30 more horsepower wouldn't make much of a dent.

I'm surprised I lasted this long. Esp. when Andy would call me while he was drving his and I heard it in the background. So so mean Andy! I'm sure it would have been on time if it weren't for the first roof that came in being jacked up. I guess I'll know tomorrow how good they are. I saw the truck last week and they did alot more to it than I thought we were. I was under the impression that they were going to PDR the sides, but the pass. side was so bad they unded up pulling them and repairing it. The truck really took a beating guys, I wish some of you could have seen it. Well, Winston and Chris did. I dropped it off July 9th actually, so it's been 5 weeks I guess. Tomorrow is going to be a long day until late afternoon.

It was between the two shops but I chose the dealership b/c of their warranty. It's all gonna come down to Monday morning.

oh mY GOOOOOODDDDDDDDD!!!! What the hell can go wrong?!?!?! Here is the saga that is my life. I show up, I'm waiting, the girl comes around the corner with a detail rag. I'm thinking, hmmmm... what the hell now? Next to the dealership, Holiday Inn is building a really nice new hotel. Guess what? Today was painting day! There is white overspray on the truck!! Dude, it's rediculous! They are going to replace all black plastics and rubber on the truck now. The rear bumper step, white specks. The wiper shroud, white specs. They got them off the parts that weren't repainted, butdidn't want to clay bar the newly painted area which is the tailgate, roof, hood, and pass doors. I will say that the truck looks fantastic other than that. They did unfortunatly REBADGE the damn tailgate and not the hood. They did de-badge the tailgate though before I left, only to find the one flaw that happend. It was made note of as well. I did get everything in writing fo sho! The mgr. even said that they appreciate how cool I am about it. Getting mad doesn't really do anything but make you look like a jackass. They have abouit 10 cars with overspray on them including an 07 Blue and White VIPER! They have lawyers they say on this to re-coop their money. I shouldn't have picked up the truck but with the pending storm coming(which isn't going to be all that bad more than likely) I feel better about ti being in my garage vs. more than likely being left outside. I did put on my Stillen covers when I got home and they are pimp. It's time to go jump in the shower before the baby sitter gets here. Yeah good luck getting them to replace the panels. They aren't gonna do it. They PDR'd one side of it and fixed the other the old fashioned way. Honestly, you can't tell the difference. My DS did a jam up job. You'd be surprised what these PDR guys can do. Of course, black is a pretty easy color to blend.
